Case Study

Country House, Oxfordshire

This traditional country property, nestled in the Cotswolds, exudes classic character, and showcases how natural stone can create the perfect home to last a lifetime.

The property was built using a Cotswold stone mix, detailed with hand-crafted ashlar stone dressings. The porch at the front on the property makes for an inviting entrance, and the bay windows allow extra light into the room, as well as being a traditional feature of the property.

The versatility of natural stone flooring made it the perfect choice throughout the ground floor and a hand-carved, natural limestone fireplace provides a great focal point in the living room, as well as warmth in the colder months.

Yorkstone paving provides a continuous finish around the property and complements the beautiful landscaping. The Yorkstone paving overlapping the pool has been finished with a bull nose edge. Dry stone walls provide a boundary around the garden.

A stunning ashlar bridge greets you as you enter the property.
